Every figure here is one we have tested. Where we have not tested something we say so instead of guessing, because a cracked dish is not a returns problem, it is a trust problem.

Glaze and food safety
Every glaze we use is tested to EN 1388 for lead and cadmium release and comes back below the reporting limit. The certificates are on the product pages, dated, with the batch they cover.
Temperatures are the maximum for the piece, not for the food in it. Sudden changes crack stoneware whatever the rating says: no freezer straight into a hot oven, and no cold water into a hot pan.

Fired to 1,220 °C
Vitrified stoneware, so it takes the dishwasher and the oven without crazing.

Moulded pulp, no polystyrene. A breakage is replaced once, without a photograph.

Every pattern stays in production for five years, so one broken plate does not end a set.
Questions
What people ask before the first order
Will it go in the dishwasher?
Stoneware, yes, every piece, on any cycle. Cast iron, no — it strips the seasoning; hot water and a brush. The oven-to-table matrix above lists every piece against every appliance, with the temperature.
How hot can it get?
Stoneware to 260 °C in the oven and under the grill. Cast iron to anything a home hob or oven can do. The one rule: no sudden changes — a cold plate into a hot oven, or a hot skillet under a cold tap, is how pieces crack.
What happens if it arrives broken?
Send a photo within 48 hours and a replacement ships the same day; no need to send the broken piece back. Breakage in transit runs under 1% because everything travels in moulded pulp, not bubble wrap.
Will a replacement match?
Glaze is mixed in batches and speckle varies, so a replacement matches closely but not exactly — the product page shows two pieces from different batches side by side so you know before you order.
