How it travels, and how long it has when it lands
Packed the morning it goes out, in a box built to hold temperature for eight hours. Everything below is the standard for every order, not a best case.

How it travels

When it arrives
- First Get the chilled bag into the fridge — within thirty minutes.
- Then Leave the bread out of the fridge. It goes stale faster in there.
- Same day Check the packed date on the box against the best-before on the card.
- Day 1 to 2 Use the leaves, the herbs and the fish first — they go before anything else.
If it arrives warm
Tell us the same day and we refund the chilled items in full — no photographs, no argument. If the ice packs are liquid, do not eat the meat or the dairy.
Days on arrival assume the box goes into a fridge at 4°C or below within half an hour of delivery. Anything frozen is a separate run, and it is marked as such on the product.

Questions
Before your first box
How long does it keep?
Every item shows days from arrival, not from packing — milk 5, bread 3, hard cheese 21, carrots 10 in the fridge. The number is printed on the page and on the box label the day it ships.
What if I am not home?
The box is insulated with gel packs and stays under 5 °C for eight hours from the courier's scan, in shade. Leave a safe place at checkout; if it has to go back to the depot we re-deliver the next morning and replace anything that has warmed.
Can I freeze any of it?
Bread, cheese and meat kits, yes, on the day they arrive — the page says which. Milk and salad, no. Anything we send frozen is labelled frozen and travels with dry ice, never thawed and refrozen.
What if something is missing?
Email or WhatsApp a photo of the packing slip within 24 hours and the missing item is refunded or sent with the next box, your choice. Short-dated items are refunded without a photo.
