- AYESHA Roman capitals Deepest cut. Best on anything 8 mm or wider.
- Ayesha Serif Fine strokes. Not on brushed finishes.
- Ayesha Italic script Two characters fewer than the limit, because the letters join.

What will not work
- Emoji and symbols The cutter follows a single stroke path, so it cannot render a filled shape.
- Anything on plated chain Cutting through the plating exposes the base metal and it will tarnish along the line.
- More than two lines On a signet face a third line drops below 1 mm and stops being readable.
- A change after cutting Engraving is final. We check the spelling with you before the piece goes on the machine.

Vermeil, not plating — and the difference in microns
Flash plating is under one micron and wears through in a season. Vermeil is 2.5 microns of gold over sterling silver, which is why it costs more and why it survives being worn daily.

Before you send it
How do I know my size?
Rings: measure the inside of one you already wear in millimetres and match it to the chart on the page, or order the free plastic sizer. Chains: the length in centimetres is on every listing with a photo of where it sits.
Will it turn my skin green?
Gold vermeil is sterling silver with a thick gold layer, so no — the green mark comes from copper-heavy brass, which we do not use. The plating wears at clasps after a year or two of daily wear; re-plating is Rs 900.
Can it be engraved after I buy it?
Yes. Signet rings, bar necklaces and tags take up to 12 characters, engraved here after you order. Engraved pieces are made for you and cannot be returned, so the preview shows the exact cut before you pay.
What if it arrives after the birthday?
Order by 2 pm and it ships the same day; Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad get it the next working day, everywhere else within three. If we miss the date you told us at checkout, the delivery is free and we say sorry properly.
