Built by session, not by season
Kit that knows what it is for
Every piece states the session it was made for and the fabric figures behind that claim. Where a piece is wrong for something, the panel below says so.
-

Long runs
The 118 gsm tee
Open knit through the back, flatlock seams where a pack sits, and nothing printed to hold heat.
Dries in 22 minutes
Shop the run kit -

The gym
The 240 gsm short
Heavier, with a deeper pocket that holds a phone without swinging. Not built for heat.
Pocket fits 16 cm
Shop training -

Cold mornings
The brushed base layer
Warm without bulk under a shell. Too warm above about 12°C, and we would rather say that than sell it twice.
Good to about 4°C moving

What it is built for
The sessions it is for, and the ones it is not
Every verdict on the left is backed by a figure on the right. If a claim has no number behind it, it is not on this page.
By session
-
Long runs, 60 minutes and up Built for it
Open knit through the back and no printed panels to hold heat.
-
Intervals and track Built for it
Cut close enough not to flap, with flatlock seams at the shoulder.
-
Gym and lifting Works
Fine, but a heavier fabric sits better under a bar across the back.
-
Cold mornings under 8°C Wrong for it
At 118 gsm it will not hold any warmth once you stop moving.
Take instead The brushed base layer, under a shell.
The fabric
- Weight
- 118 gsmLight enough to see a hand through when held up — that is the trade for the drying time.
- Composition
- 88% recycled polyester, 12% elastaneThe elastane is what lets it stretch and what wears out first.
- Dry time
- 22 minutesSoaked, spun once, hung indoors at 22°C.
- Seams
- Flatlock, shoulder and sideFlat against the skin where a pack strap sits.
- UPF
- Not ratedWe have not had it tested, so we do not claim a number.
Weights are measured on finished garments in size M, not on the roll.
Drying times are ours: soaked, spun once, hung indoors at 22°C. Yours will differ with humidity, which is why the method is stated rather than just the number.

Wear testing
What we tested, and what came back
Six checks on every sample before it becomes a product. The ones that failed are listed with what we changed, because that is the part worth reading.
6 checks · 2 passed first time
-
Opacity at full squat
Changed after testingHow Bright overhead light, phone camera, full depth, three colours.
The first knit went translucent in the lightest colour.
We changed Yarn doubled in the gusset and the light colourway dropped.
-
Pocket at running pace
PassedHow A 16 cm phone, five kilometres, road and treadmill.
No bounce and no creep at the waistband.
-
Chafe over 90 minutes
Changed after testingHow Long runs in three sizes, seams marked afterwards.
The old side seam rubbed under a pack strap.
We changed Moved to flatlock and shifted the seam 2 cm back.
-
Odour after two sessions
A limitHow Worn twice without washing, assessed blind by three people.
Noticeable. Recycled polyester holds odour and no finish fixes it permanently.
-
Shape after 30 washes
PassedHow Thirty cycles at 30°C, measured before and after.
Under 2% shrinkage and no waistband roll.
-
Elastane after a year
A limitHow A worn set from our own team, twelve months in.
Recovery is visibly down. Elastane is a consumable — we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Testing is done by our own team over four weeks of ordinary training, not in a lab. Where a claim needs a lab we say it is not rated rather than implying a number.

Why there are only nine pieces
Nine pieces, each for a session
Most ranges are one garment in fourteen colours. Ours is nine garments that do different jobs, because the second shirt you buy should cover a session the first one does not.
- Nine pieces, three fabrics
- Every weight and dry time published
- Sessions a piece is wrong for, stated
- Restocked in the same colours, not replaced
Questions
Before you train in it
Which size should I take?
Flat measurements and the intended fit are on every page — compression, fitted or loose. For leggings match your hip; for tees your chest. Between sizes, take the smaller for compression pieces and the larger for anything loose.
Is it see-through?
Not the leggings, in any position — the squat-proof test is a photo on the page, taken under studio light. The mesh panels are, by design, and the listing shows where they sit.
How do I wash it?
40 °C, no softener, no tumble dryer. Softener coats technical fibres and stops them wicking; a dryer bonds the waistband apart. Dry flat or hang, and it is ready in an hour.
Can I return something I have trained in?
Yes, within 30 days, washed. The training-load panel says what each piece is built for; if it was wrong for your session, that is on us, and we swap or refund without a debate.
