Wider than a 76 cm doorway, so it goes in on its side — 72 cm is the measurement that has to clear the frame.

    Solid European oak

    22 mm

    Kiln-dried, FSC-certified sawmill in Latvia

    Cut from the board, not pressed from chips. The grain runs through the whole thickness, so a scratch sands out instead of exposing a core.

    Wipe with a damp cloth. Re-oil once a year with any hardwax oil.

    Oatmeal bouclé

    820 g/m², 40,000 Martindale

    Woven in Portugal from recycled cotton

    A dense loop that holds its shape. Tested to 40,000 rubs, which is the contract-furniture threshold, not the domestic one.

    Vacuum monthly with a brush head. Blot spills, never rub.

    Brushed brass

    3 mm solid

    Turned in Sialkot

    Solid bar, not plated steel, so it develops a patina instead of flaking. Handles unscrew for replacement.

    Leave it to age, or bring back the shine with a brass cream.

Made to order means a wait. It also means the piece is yours rather than whatever was in the container.

The things people ask before ordering

Will it fit through my door?

Every product page lists the packed dimensions as well as the assembled ones, and a doorway of 75 cm clears everything we make. If yours is narrower, message us the width before ordering and we will tell you honestly.

Will it match furniture I already own?

Pale oak sits with most timbers and with painted pieces. Every product page has the finish photographed in daylight and in lamplight, and we post a free oak sample block so you can hold it against what you have.

How do I read the timber certificate?

The timber certificate names the mill, the species and the chain of custody from forest to workshop. It is on every product page, and it is the reason we can say the wood is what we say it is.

What is your returns policy?

Pieces are made to order, so we ask you to check the drawing before you buy. If it arrives damaged or not as drawn, we collect it and replace or refund in full. Change of mind within 14 days: we collect, and refund minus the delivery cost.
